-The policy supports consumers without rooftop solar provision under RESCO mode, allowing them to enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with solar developers for a fixed period of 25 years.
-Hybrid RESCO model combines a net-metering agreement between consumers and DISCOM through a tripartite agreement between RESCO developers, DISCOM, and consumers, benefiting consumers with a lower tariff bar and assured take-off for developers.
-Targets include achieving 4500 MW installed capacity, including 750 MW of rooftop solar within the state and 3750 MW of utility-scale solar from outside, introducing group net metering, peer-to-peer transactions, and community solar program for consumers without suitable rooftops.
