Ayodhya Becomes Model Solar City with 40 MW Solar Power Plant

• The Yogi government has achieved a 40 MW solar power generation capacity in Ayodhya.
• Ayodhya surpassed the benchmark set by the Uttar Pradesh Solar Energy Policy 2022, which required reducing conventional energy demand by at least 10 percent.
• The 40 MW capacity was established by NTPC Green Energy Limited on 165.10 acres of leased land near the Saryu River.
• This accomplishment has led to Ayodhya being designated a model solar city under the state policy.
