Torrent Power Limited has pledged investments exceeding ₹64,000 crore at the 4th RE-Invest in Gandhinagar, aiming to create around 26,000 jobs.
The company submitted two ‘Shapath Patras’ to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, detailing plans to install 10 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 with an investment of ₹57,000 crore.
Torrent Power also signed an MoU with the Gujarat government for a 5 GW solar, wind, or solar-wind hybrid project in Dwarka district.
Plans for a ₹7,200 crore Green Ammonia production facility were announced, targeting both domestic and international markets.
The company is exploring energy storage solutions, including 5 to 8 GW of Pumped Storage Projects (PSP) across multiple states with an investment of ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 crore.
Torrent Power aims to contribute significantly to India’s goal of 500 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030.
