– Over a five-year period, the investment will fund lithium- and sodium-ion technology R&D and giga-scale cell manufacturing.
– The project, supported by a Memorandum of Understanding with the Telangana government, aims to generate 6,000 jobs in Phase 1.
– GODI plans a 2.5 GWh cell assembly line in Phase 1, with a vision to expand to 10 GWh in the second phase, catering to various sectors, including defence, solar, EVs, and electronics.
