- Greenko has signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu government to develop three pumped storage projects totaling 3.3 GW in Tirupathur, Salem, and Tiruvannamalai.
- The MoU was signed in the presence of Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister MK Stalin.- Greenko is expanding its portfolio, aiming for over 100 GWh of cloud-connected storage across India.
- Their largest pumped storage project, located in Madhya Pradesh, is being expanded to 1.92 GW with 11 GWh daily storage capacity.
- Greenko currently has 7.5 GW of installed renewable capacity and plans to have 50 GWh of storage operational by 2025, with an additional 50 GWh to follow.
