Google- Gruner Renewable Energy has secured US$ 60 million in funding to expand its presence in the green energy domain.
- The investment will support the establishment of new Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) plants across India, enhancing research and development (R&D) efforts.
- The projects include 11 assignments worth ₹21,100 crore and 19 additional projects valued at ₹400 crore.
- Gruner aims to significantly improve energy efficiency and biogas production accuracy while scaling up CNG retail outlets and exploring new business verticals.
