Google- SECI is seeking bids for 400 MW of hybrid wind-solar projects on a build-own-operate basis, with projects connected to the interstate transmission system (ISTS).
- Bidders must propose projects with capacities between 50 MW and 600 MW, and successful bidders will sign 25-year PPAs with SECI.
- SECI is also accepting proposals for grid-connected PV projects with battery energy storage systems (BESS) for Lakshadweep Islands, including Androth, Bitra, Amini, and Kadmat.
- Developers for the Lakshadweep projects will sign 25-year PPAs with the Lakshadweep Electricity Department, covering 1,385 kW of grid-interactive PV projects with BESS.
